I'm finally here ye filthy thieves!

 

    Ye all should be scared of Lenny t' Leprechaun! Me army of Leprechauns have been taking over this site for the past few days, while I was attending to some business in Avalon. I want me gold back and I want it back now! No eh? Well lets make a deal then pirate? yes? I will trade ye real pirate gold and magical elixers that will make ye richer than ever before, but only if you help me find me leprechaun gold! Ah I knew ye be interested!     I hope all ye had a wonderful St. Pattys day! It is time me and my minions leave Pirates of the Spiral and go back to Avalon. I just wanted to thank all ye that helped me find the coins that rascle Johnny hid. I am leaving some gold and elixers for him to give away, there are a few left.     Pat O'Gold grabbed her things and headed toward the rainbow that would take her to the spiral.
It was that time of year again for her to go to Wizard City and set up her wares at the fountain
As she walked along the multicolored bow her mind drifted back to yesterday evening. While she was packing she heard a noise at her door.
She turned to look and saw someone had slipped a note under it. She walked over and picked it up.it looked official it had the Wizard City crest on the front.
She opened it and began to read...


Dear Pat,

     It seems there is a leprechaun named Lenny that is running
ramped in the rainbow spiral, looking for pots of gold from the rainbow spirals.
We must stop him!. As you are heading to Wizard City
please keep a look out for him. If you see him try to follow him and find
out where he is hiding it. It will be the end of all the
rainbows if we don't stop him. The gold is what gives
the rainbows all the pretty colors.Please help!

    "This is not good" she said out loud to no one but her self. And then and there she decided
she would keep a watchful eye out for this Lenny,and if she saw him she would find out just
what he was up to. A noise up ahead jerked her back to reality. She was almost to Wizard City.
She could see all the wizards laughing and talking waiting patiently for her to arrive at the fountain.
As she stepped off the rainbow into the shopping district she was almost ran over by a flying dragon.
"Boy that was close" she said as she hurried to her spot.
She quickly set her table up and set everything out for all the wizards to see. She could tell by the crowd this was going
to be a very long day. She stayed busy all day answering questions about this wand and that one. She was so glad she had brought her cage for the leprechaun pets this year, They just couldn't be still.Later as the day came to a close the sun was going down and all the wizards were heading back to their dorms and homes,laughing and talking about the wands they got, and how cute the leprechaun pets were.

 

    While she was packing up her stuff she thought to her self how glad she was she had purchased
one of the cottages. Going back over the rainbow was a long journey, to have to turn around and come back again.
As she picked up her bags and headed toward her cottage out of the corner of her eye she saw something move.
She turned in that direction but as she peered into the darkness she didn't see anything but pitch black.
So she hurried on her way. it would be good to get home and light a fire and unwind from the busy day.

 

    As she arrived home she was glad to see she had left the light on. She hated stumbling around in the dark looking for her key.
She set her things at the door and hurried to start a fire and some tea and biscuits.
It had been a long day and she was tired and hungry.She put the kettle on for tea, and while the biscuits were baking, she put the wands away and took the leprechaun pets out to the barn and fed them.. Then she locked the door and headed back inside. As the warmth from the fire filled the cottage, she sat down in her chair and poured her self a cup of tea and took a sip.
Just as she was taking a bite of a biscuit she heard a noise coming from outside. "what was that?" she thought. She went to her window and peered outside. There in her yard was a leprechaun. "Oh my" she said one of the pets has gotten loose.
She quickly ran to her door grabbing the cage as she went. Once outside she could see the little leprechaun dancing and jumping
all around the yard. She opened the cage then reached in her pocket.
Everyone knew the only way to catch a leprechaun is with gold, and she kept a gold piece in her pocket just for that occasion.
She set the gold piece inside the cage and stepped back into the dark to wait for the leprechaun to go inside.
then she would run up and shut the door and lock it.

 

    The leprechaun danced and jumped all around and then stopped. It had seen the gold and was
walking over for a closer look. Just as it went inside the cage and bent and reached for the gold coin
Pat ran up slammed the door and yelled "GOTCHA!" She took the cage inside sat it by the door and went to
finish her tea and biscuits before she took it back to the barn. She had just sat back down in her chair when she heard a voice say...
"Let me go and I will give you 3 wishes." She almost dropped her teacup.She set her cup down and turned to look around the room expecting to see someone standing there.
But instead, all she saw was the leprechaun she had caught in the cage looking at her.
"Pets don't talk" she said to her self. She got up and walked to her tiny kitchen and looked around, but no one was there.
She noticed the door to a room off the kitchen was slightly ajar. As she walked closer something caught her eye.
Laying just inside the door on the floor was something gold and shiny. She pushed the door open and reached for the light.
As the light filled the room she couldn't believe her eyes. There inside were pots and pots of gold.
"How did this get in here" she said out loud. a voice from the living room said "IT'S MINE!"

    She ran to the cage and peered inside. The little leprechaun was standing there hands on his hips and a angry look on his face.
"Your not one of my pets" she said. No I'm not! the leprechaun said. " who are you?" she asked.
"My name is Lenny and that is my gold, now let me out of here and I will be on my way!" Pat looked at Lenny and asked,
"Why are there pots of gold in my room?" "I put them there" Lenny said with a smirk. "I knew you only came once a year, so i stored it there."
"I wasn't expecting you to arrive so early, So when I saw you in the shopping district I knew I needed to get it out before you got home,but you beat me here."

    Pat knew what she had to do. she picked up the cage and headed to headmaster Ambrose house in Wizard City.
Ambrose raised his head from the book he was reading as Pat entered the room.
"Well hello young wizard" Ambrose said as he rose from behind his desk. "what brings you out this time of night?"
I caught Lenny in my pet cage" she beamed as she raised the cage for Ambrose to get a better look. "so you did" Ambrose said.
"Good job young wizard". She then proceeded to tell Ambrose she had found all the gold, and would bring it to his house in the morning. " You have done the spiral a great service" said Ambrose. The rainbow spiral has been saved!

    Today Pirate101 has opened the Test Realm! This time around, you get to test out the new "Stitching" Option! Just like in Wizard101, Eloise Merryweather has traveled to Skull Island to stitch our pirates gear and weapons!

 

Please heed these important things to note about this process:

• Both items will be removed from your backpack and replaced with the new item that will be created with the Appearance and colors of one piece, and the Stats and name of the other, as you specified.
• The name of the item will be transferred from the Stats item, along with the bonuses.
• The bonuses of the appearance item will completely disappear, and be overwritten by the bonuses of the stats item.
• Once the transaction is complete, and you've purchased the item, it cannot be undone!
• This process costs Crowns.
• Unlike Wizard101, Eloise does not carry standard clothing patterns in her inventory.
• Although Eloise is good at what she does, she will not stitch weapons of conflicting types to each other, e.g., you can't stitch a crossbow to a two-handed sword, but shooty weapons will stitch just fine to other shooty weapons.
• There will be an in-game tool tip for using Stitching; however, it will be a “silent” tool tip until we can add voiceover at a later time.

    How are all ye landlubbers doing this fine Sunday? Today I took the time to finish up my dorm room in Pirate101! The theme I tried to create was a Pirate hideout.

 

    To the right of the door from avery's court is a table where we can have a nice mug of Yum while planning our next adventure or attack on another ship. Next to the chest bank, we have our ships anchor and a jawbone of a giant baracuda mounted on the wall. To the left of the entrance is a bunch of boxes containing extra weapons, gunpowder, cannonballs, and more.

 

    Towards the side window, we have a Skull themed double seat couch, with a huge footrest where we can just lay back and relax while we aren't out adventuring. Next to the couch is our telescope we use to see any incoming enemy ships heading towards skull island. To the corner of the room is a magical artifact. This revolving globe is based off of Skull Island at any current time. It shows all of the Pirates roaming around and where the class teachers are etc. Great for finding enemies and theives!

 

    On the south wall, there is an ice hydra head and the storm hydra head mounted. We are searching for a fire hydra head to complete our collection. In the middle of the room is my desk where me and my companions plan out or meet for discussions. Next to my desk, is our piles of gold and chests we have collected during our adventures. Finally on the east side of the room is the 4 bunkbeds! Me and my crew need some rest to when we aren't out sailing! Yes I know a pretty basic room, but once I get out and collect more items, I promise to make a more epic pirate lair! ;) Myrella Windspar in her pirate oufit approves!

    How is everyone today? I hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday! The last time we left off on our witchdoctor adventure, we explored a cave that had Criado's footprints leading into it. It turned out that a troggy shaman and its minions wanted Criado as dinner and had him roasting above fire. We saved him and defeated Eep eep oh ark. :)

 

    After saving him, he tells us how to get past the swarming bee's blocking our way to find Gortez! After collecting the special ingrediants from the flowers around the camp we put it on us so the bee's will not come near us. We make it further into the forest and we meet a groovy frog. haha

    After meeting Hopper, we explore the temple ruins that the armada are searching for treasure. We meet an admiral inside and battle him. After a couple of hoodoo spells, he is toast and we explore the other end of the area with Hopper. We find 2 monkeys standing ground near a wooden gate. They wonder if you have what it takes to see Gortez, once you go back into the ruins and do what they ask, they will allow you to pass through the gate! What mysteries and adventures await inside...?

Since I loved Sarah so much on my Swashbuckler pirate, I bought Lucy for my Witchdoctor. For her first upgrade we get a new ability and get to pick out of a pool of epics she can learn from!     Nikolaus Overdiek is a Concept Artist over at Kingsisle and has created tons of artwork for both Wizard101 and Pirate101! He released some of the other loading screens that weren't used in the game on his Blog! When you get the time, go check out his work here, its brilliant! There are a bunch of other cool things on their from Azteca, to Avalon, and much much more. Love the graphics on them so much. Epic job!

Pirates take to the midnight skies of Westminster Skyway, where they find a war zone and come face to face with the consequences of their former actions. Marleybone is at war with the evil Clockwork Armada - a war your Pirate started, and a war Marleybone is losing! To get the next piece of the Map, player Pirates must join the Royal Navy and help turn the tide of the war. Their quest will take Pirates to the Isle of Dogs, a bustling hub of industry and shipbuilding with a criminal underworld lurking in the sewers beneath; the isle of Fetch, a vacation resort now abandoned and waiting for the imminent Armada invasion, and Beachhead, an armored battle station with enough firepower to destroy every city in Marleybone. To find Argos the Cyclops, keeper of the next piece of the Map to El Dorado, the Pirate must first help the Imperial Eagles win the Trojan War against the evil Snakes if Illios, rescue the hero Theseus, and follow Ulysses home on his odyssey. This is the longest single Book yet created for Pirate101, and it is truly epic. Pirates will fight beside legendary heroes like Eagilles, Hawkules, and Zeena, queen of the Amazons.  Guided by mysterious prophecies from the Oracle of Delphos and the Immortals of Olympus, Pirates will journey to many exotic locations, including the streets of Troy, the Isle of the Sirens, ruined Knossos, and the shining city of Nova Aquila, center of the glorious Eagle Empire. New monsters stand in their way, including Manticores, Ettins, Centaurs, Cyclopses, and some of the toughest bosses Pirate101 has ever seen: Talos the Colossus, Medusa the Gorgon, the invincible Minotaur, the Hydra, and Scylla and Charybdis!

    Its a fine day today pirates! Pirate101 had opened up Test Realm and posted the update notes! After a few minutes, Kingsisle had to take it back down for maintenance for some bugs that were not allowing people to progress to the new questline. Others also had problems entering the new Auction House. This post is just to show you all what is to be expected in this Test Realm and possible Live realm when we finish testing it! Cheers!

• -All characters who have finished "The Great and Powerful Turtle" in Mooshu will need to visit Captain Avery in his office to continue their journey!
• -Players will now get to level their pirates to level 65 (char and NXP) with this content update! Wow!
• -Make sure to go visit your Class Trainer before heading off on your new adventures! They will have a variety of new talents you can learn when you level up!
• -Tons of new gear and weapons are available as drops in both of the new worlds! The Gold cap has been increased to 200,000 gold! Woot!

• Tons of new Companions are waiting to join your crew pirates!
• Many of your Old Companions will have new powers and talents!
• Some Companions can even be promoted!
• Prepare yourself to battle with and against a host of new faces: Kurghas, Grenadiers, Anarchists, War Golems, Vultures, Manticores, Ophidians, Eagle Centurions, Ettins, Trolls, Sirens, Minotaurs, Krakens, Crokagators, and Gorgons await you!
• Zeke is back with new exploration quests!

    Make sure you check out the new Bazaar that opened up in Skull Island!

Harvey Deuce is the keeper and will let you sell loot and buy loot! Like they say, one man's garbage may be another mans treasure! He resembles One-eyed Jack, hmm is he playing another trick on us trying to roll in the loot? ;)

    Tired of sailing back and forth between worlds and stormgates? Problem solved! Visit one of the Bey family members in each world and they will have an ancient Krokotopian Portal that will take you to any world that you have visited before by ship! Subscribers to Pirate101 will only have to pay Gold to use them. Others will have to use a small amount of crowns to use the transportation device!

 

New Class Trainer Powers! 

•     Look at all of those amazing new talents and powers! Wow! Some of them are total game changers in Pvp! The Witchdoctors can learn a new talent called "Purge Magic" which allows them to remove ALL buffs off a target!
•     Buccaneers "Reckless Frenzy" allows them to keep attacking until they miss! The catch is that they will lose -5% per swing! Life or death kinda thing I guess! Go out strong!
•     Swashbucklers get a new "Black Fog" talent which hides them and lets them attack even stronger when revealing themselves!
•     Musketeers can learn the "Power Monkeys Palaside" which allows them to place a powder keg on an empty battleboard space. Wonder what happens when they shoot it? ;)

    If ye didn't know yet, Test Realm is up! Kingsisle has released 2 new worlds, Marleybone and Aquila. Today I will be sharing some of my pictures of my adventures here and explain some of the things happening during your visit here! Lets be on our way then, yes?

Before you even get to step foot into Marleybone, you need to get the Yellow Windstone which allows your ship access to the Stormgate that brings you to MB! You find yourself back in Port Royal asking some of the friends you made back when you and catbeard caused some trouble between the Armada and Fort Elena. Next thing you know you are searching the abandoned church!

After searching the church and getting rid of those pesky ghosts, you talk to the shopkeepers and they say that in the sewers of Port Royale, there are catacombs with a commander who has the Yellow Windstone you are looking for locked up in his office. You have multiple battles of Redcoats before making your way to his office. Its locked up in a safe, so as always Ratbeard has the perfect idea how to open it up! ;)

Now that we have the Yellow Windstone from the Commander stationed under Port Royal, we have to head to Mooshu to get permission to use the Storm Gate next to Hammimitsu. We ask the Marleybone attendant in Hamma and she has a favor before allowing us to use the stormgate. She wants us to go get somethings from an evil Yakooza named Sato. There are multiple floors in this tower so best stock up on mojo potions! Each floor has a different set of mobs and of course Monkey King points out the things on the floor THEN the Mob! LOL Once you are on the top floor, you confront Sato. Ok lets just talk about how epic those shades are?! He looks like a boss. ;) The first thing I noticed when starting the battle is his ability "Escape Artist". I then saw the lone space in the corner of the battleboard and thought to myself, hmm he is going to go to that space, so lets beat him to the punch! Being the sneaky Witchdoctor I am, I was lucky enough to have the teleport spell in hand and used to that space. Ha! He did end up using "Escape Artist" each time a Melee unit hit him. But it was all different spots on the board, but not the spot he really wanted haha. I was shooting Aoe's from afar and none of them could touch me. After battle, Sato's second chance chest appeared. This feature is also new to Pirate101! It works similiar to Wizard101's second chance chests. Nathan or as you may know him "Ion" won Sato's epic glasses!!! They give the teleport spell "Shadow Step". How awesome is that?!

After defeating Sato, we head back to Hammamitsu and the Marleybonian advisor gives us permission to use the stormgate granting us access to MB! Time for some new adventures and exploring woot woot! Haha Zeke's new quest is finding the Rolling Stones. His dialouge is also phrased like one of their songs lol.

In town, we go to the tavern and talk to Ned Land. He informs us that Catbeard has indeed been thrown into the royal prison "Glass house". Ned tells you about Swidget, Catbeards laywer! When you visit Swidget in his house and ask him how we can talk to catbeard, he says he will let us, but we have to do him a favor first. His Nephew has been hanging around with a local gang and Swidget wants his nehpew to stop acting up and to come home. He then tells us the location of the gangs hideout. After a couple of different mob battles, you will encounter Nigel, Swidgets nephew, and he will agree to go back home and stop his "gang" ways.

When you return the nephew to Swidget, he will explain to you why Catbeard is in so much trouble. (Remember that time you helped catbeard orchestrate the spark that started the war between the Armada and Marleybone in Port Royale? Kidnapping the Govenors Daughter perhaps? Yes that is why.
