How is everyones New Year going? I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone for viewing Pirates-of-the-Spiral and its content. It means alot to me! I love seeing new comments! So please share your thoughts if you want after reading a post.
I am starting back up with my Witchdoctor! We last left off completing Skull Island and Bload Shoals. We heard that Ratbeard (who stole the Will to Gun's treasure) may be in Jonah Town! While we were sailing to our destination there were tons of Cutthroat ships and tribal ships in our path. My witchdoctor took care of them with his awesome little raft! :p
Once we saw the flying whale in sight..(Yes Jonah town is on the back of a flying whale!) we docked. We met Captain Ahab, who is curious in what we need to talk to the Frogfather about. But first he asks for our help before telling us where he is. He asks us to go and search the skyways near the Vortex of "Doom" (sounds really safe! :p) for his friend Brody. We agree to help and continue to explore the town.
On the edge of Town, we meet 2 locals who have lost their musical instruments from cutthroats. We agreed to help them by going out and taking their loot back from those brute sharks! Before heading off to go find Brody we stop by the Tavern to get a quick bottle of Yum and meet Katherine. She asks us to go save a young boy who has been kidnapped by a local Cutthroat. Who would choose not to kick some cutthroat butt? ;)
After drinking our bottle of yum while talking to Katherine about her troubles, we decide to set sail towards the Vortex of Doom! Oh dear the closer we get the more scary it is!
LOL! The ship is called Amity as we approach it! If you are a Jaws Movie fan, you will get this connection. (Sharks, Brody, the Amity). We hear a cry for help from Brody as sharks surround him on his Ship. We dock and protect him from the storm sharks. Once we have saved him, the Amity doesn't make it sadly and Brody has to sail back to Jonah Town with us!
When we bring back Brody to Captain Ahab he is greatful! But he still wont tell us where the Frogfather is! -.-' Next he wants us to find his son Norville who hasn't returned back to Jonah town with the money they need to pay the Frogfather to protect them from Cutthroats and the local baddies. (Ohh look at that Mystery Crown icon on the quest rewards list. That means a crown item/companion will be unlocked at the completion of this quest. Cool beans!
He says Norville was last at Rapa Nui, the local water mole tribe island near Jonah Town. As we are about to set sail again, we see a local fisherman who needs our help. The Whale is starting to get hungry and he asks us to go and catch some flying fish meat to tame the beast.
Next stop Rapa Nui!
